This stuff does not taste amazing. In fact, it tastes like watered down muscle milk, if you've ever had that brand. That being said, it does not have all the artificial sweeteners and strange ingredients muscle milk has. You want to avoid anything artificial. Things like sucralose, aspartame etc. aren't particularly good for the human body. Or, at least, their long-term effects haven't been studied enough to determine.
The taste is bearable, and after drinking it for a while, I grew to like the taste. I'm not saying it's bad, it's just bland. Which is better than tasting bad. It is very low in sugar, which is good. It has 24g protein per serving. Whey protein is the best, and this is only $30 after taxes and shipping. Great deal. (I bought the 2lb chocolate kind). I refuse to try the vanilla as I have found that most vanilla protein shakes are disgusting.
So in conclusion, this is all natural (which is great), cheap for the amount you get, has a decent taste (not great, but not bad. It's drinkable!), and as long as you're lifting hard, it will aid you in seeing results. I drink mine immediately after lifting, and sometimes before going to bed as your muscles are recuperating and rebuilding while you sleep. Great product! |

| This stuff is great and I don't really trust other protein powders. I don't want to go to unatural stuff or buy it from some carrier that's gonna take 2 weeks to ship it out. |
ALL NATURAL !!!

| This is one of the only protein powders I could find that DOES NOT have ANY artificial sweetener in the ingredients. It seams ironical to me the I take protein powder because I am trying to build a healthier body and almost all protein supplements contain some form of artificial sweetener ! |
Great product, im a college student, and i recommend this product to people who want to gain muscle!

This whey protein optimizes muscle recovery so the next day you will not feel as sore. for my workout plan i take one serving of this after workouts, and i workout 3 times a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. So basically when i workout hard on monday, come wednesday i wont feel a thing, and will have a lot of energy to workout because well i guess my mindset to get big and beef up. oh and if your not planning to utilize this product as in workout and train hard, do not waste your money and buy this because it is not a miracle product, meaning you will not get muscles out of no where from taking this and doing nothing. all in all the product mixes great, no clumps, i mix it with 8-10oz milk and after i finish it, i pour in some water to get all my nutrition from the whey.
good luck to you all
PEACE.
BTW - a little warning i received my product from amazon with the inner seal under the cap OFF, but the outer safety protector plastic was still on so i knew it was safe and not tampered with. so rest to sure dont worry if your inner seal was off or loose, because the outer plastic ring protector covering the cap is secure. |

| Very similar to the regular 100% gold standard but uses 'natural flavoring'. Tastes great to me and the company is respectable, i've been using Optimal nutrition for all my protein needs, I've tried many other brands that have just been too hard to stomach (too much artificial sweetners, awkward tasting mixes) but ON as done a great job making these products. I recommend them over any other protein maker |

| I was lead to this item by a free bodybuilding website made by a man named Scooby. He Suggested this protein because he doesn't trust artificial products, and I don't blame him. This product did the job it was supposed to, High protein for low calorie and natural. |
It's better natural!

| I was very close to purchasing the dark chocolate flavor until I read that it contained an artificial sweetener. Then I noticed this one that had all natural ingredients. When I first tried it I didn't think it had much flavor, but now I love it. I think my first mistake was that I mixed it with plain water. Now I mix 2 scoops with 8 ounces of water and just 4 ounces of milk (sometimes I'll add crushed ice to the mix). Doing it this way is great and I actually look forward to having my protein shake after workouts. I used to purchase Muscle Milk but I think you get a lot more for your money when you buy this stuff instead. Highly recommended! |

| This whey works well mixed with Cream of Wheat. I used to buy this at a store or at the mall, for about ten bucks more than it cost here. Any kind of money I can save is enough for me. This works great. It really gives me a boost and I really believe it's responsible (partially at least) for the great results I've been getting from my time at the gym. |

BEST WHEY PROTEIN SUPPLEMENT HANDS DOWN1!!

| I've been using this brand of whey since 2003 and since that time, I've tried other brands but always find myself going back to this particular brand. It doesn't give you that bloated feeling that other brands do and mixes so easily you don't even need a blender (assuming you're mixing it with water or milk only). I like to make my own shake consisting of 2 sccops of whey, 1tblsp NATURAL PN, 2 scoops of oatmeal, and a whole banana and use this a weightgainer as it saves you a lot of money from buying weightgainers in which a lot of them contain too much sugar and extra additives that you don't need. All in all, this whey protein is the BEEEEST!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! I'd rate this 10 stars if Amazon's rating scale went up that high :D. |

I actually consider protein powders to be a "food" rather than a "supplement". If you don't remember anything else at all, please remember this Despite what the advertisements promise, protein supplements do not have any magical muscle-building properties! All these powders do is provide your muscles with protein to rebuild and they are in no way superior to a well balanced meal! I personally have never seen any research which has shown that any of these powders rebuild muscles any better than natural sources like chicken, fish, or beans/rice. These products do serve a convenient meal replacement when you don't have time to eat a full meal. From my experience it is very important to consume small doses of protein every 2-3 hours throughout the day for maximum muscle building and since very few people can eat a small, well balanced meal every 2-3 hours protein powders can be very useful.
Costco, Walmart, and all the big box stores carry very economical protein powder, about $26 for 6lbs. Problem is that they are all loaded with artificial flavors and sweeteners. They often have strong artificial smells and odd aftertastes.
This is my personal favorite is from Optimum Nutrition and I have been using it for about 7 years now. Nothing artificial period, I like that!. it is definitely not the cheapest protein but I think its worth it to have all natural ingredients. Optimum nutrition makes several other protein powders that have artificial stuff in them, make sure "100% natural" is in the name and you are safe. Look at the list of ingredients and compare it to that shown on the left, make sure there is nothing artifical sounding.
