Great for Elderly who need to maintain/gain weight

| This is a great product for the elderly who are having a hard time consuming enough calories and are tired of nutritional drinks. For the old folks who have dentures or problems with chewing/swallowing I would recommend this. The bars are dense and should be eaten in small bites if choking is an issue. It's difficult to find good quality, high calorie food that also satisfies the sweet tooth that many elderly have. |

| Clif Bars provide the needed energy to keep you going when (and before) the energy from your meal runs out. I play golf almost every day and meal times tend to occur during a round. Rather than stop at the turn to get a sandwich, I eat a Clif bar and press on. They are satisfying both flavorwise and from an energy replenishment perspective. They don't melt in the heat and are very convenient to keep in the bag. I first tried Clif bars after an off road bicyclist friend told me about them. The price on Amazon is good (not great) but still much cheaper than buying them at the grocery store. I recommend them to anyone that needs an energy boost in the middle of something that cannot be stopped. |

While everyone's talking about taste, I'd like to point out a few other aspects:
1. I have one of these with a glass of milk about an hour before my workout (running/weights). The bars say 'nutrition for sustained energy' on the label and this is absolutely true. It's a slow energy release bar so you feel its effects even 2-3 hrs after you've had it. I believe this is the true purpose of an energy bar - not something that gives you instant energy and leaves you 'crashed' afterwards.
2. It's organic and has none of those high fructose corn syrup/splenda/nonsensical ingredients.
As far as the comments about the peanut butter and chocolate chip peanut crunch go, these are my fav. flavours. I'd say try them all and decide which one you like best :) |

| These bars give me a very solid, consistent energy throughout the day I've never experienced before, while hiking and biking. The solid energy is amazing, I feel right where I want to be on the energy scale for quite a while. If that alone is not enough to buy them, the taste is between good and great, with a texture somewhat like thick oatmeal and caramel. It also sits in the stomach well when doing intense activity right afterwords. The only improvement might be in the taste going from good to great. It would be hard to beat Klif bars. 5 stars |

| This was my first purchase of Clif Bars and I have been very pleased with them. All 3 flavors are delicious, though I think my favorite is the Chocolate Chip Peanut Crunch, because it reminds me of the no-bake chocolate peanut butter cookies my mom used to make. I have been using them as meal replacements when the day gets too busy to stop and cook something for myself... I find that they keep me satisfied until the next meal. They transport beautifully--no worries about melted chocolate and it's no big deal if they get squashed. I always carry one with me now because they are far healthier and cheaper than stopping for something at the food court or the drive-thru. LOVE that 70% of the ingredients are organic and hope that the manufacturers work to get that percentage even higher. |

| The Cliff Bars were fresh and exactly as expected. It is nice to have them delivered and cheaper to get cliff bars from amazon then any of the stores where I live. I now have the cliff bars coming every other month on the subscription program. I would recommend it to others who like cliff bars and eat them regularly. |

| Delicious and satisfying, and always fresh. I am pleased with my subscription to this variety pack. That said, I wish there was a bit more variety in this pack. Considering that there are a couple dozen different varieties of Cliff bar, for this pack to have only 3 different bars is disappointing. Plus, chocolate, chocolate plus peanut butter, and peanut butter are more like 2 varieties. I give the bars 5 stars for quality, but the pack 2 stars for variety. |
