I've been eating another brand of low carb bars for three years now. They keep getting smaller and smaller...I refer to them as sawdust bars!
Decided to give these a try, and I must say, they're great! Nice size, good peanut taste, not too sweet. Ate one the promptly ordered two more boxes!
If you're on a low carb regime, you need to have some of these on hand. |

| These are about the best tasting of all the low carb "meal type" bars I've tried. So much so that I ordered a second box. 4 stars cuz they still have that slight bland after taste from the crunchy soy stuff. |

| An EXCELLENT product. I have reviewed this product in the past highlighting shipping & handling problems damaging the product and reducing its quality and fitness. Something changed and my last order and one before of 10 boxes - yes, 10 boxes - was uniformly intact and the melting problem seemed fixed. All bars arrived intact and without any damage due to poor storage, shipping and handling. Either the product was improved or the handling and storage. In either case, the product is excellent when it arrives intact and not melted or adulterated. I purchased this product @ Amazon, however, it was provided by AllStar Health. My objections have been to and about Amazon delivery, shipping, handling and storage. Amazon's poor handling, storage and delivery adulterated the product. It may be that the mfg improved the product as well as notifying the distributors to handle better and differently. I cannot say, however, I did send copies of my complaints to Ross Products, a division of Abbott Labs, the maker of the product. |

I have tried almost every low carb bar on the market and nothing could compare to the fabulous taste of this bar.
It's works great for when your on the go as a meal replacement as well has a great snack for when your watching your diet and need a chocolate fix. I highly recommend this product you won't be disappointed! |
How to avoid the melted bar problem...

First, the bars taste good, just pick a flavor you like. Second, the nutrition mix is perfect with very low carbs and a good protein weight. I could buy more expensive bars elsewhere, with slightly better stats, but these are great!
Some report melting problems. When it is hot and you get a shipment, don't open the box or take the shrink wrap off (if it is), just put it in the freezer for an hour or so, then sit on the counter. The chocolate and fill will return to solid form, and not stick to the wrappers when you unwrap a bar to eat it.
I've been using these kinds of products for 40 years (Joe Weider and York Barbell started it all) and the EAS bars are fantastic, newbies just need to learn how to deal with summer heat issues. |

| This is a good meal replacement bar. There are several out there but for the most part EAS makes good products. This bar actually has nuts in it so it enhances the flavor. Calories are average 240 or so with low net carbs and 15-17 grams of protein. Overall I recommend it. You might also want to try the Cliff Builders Bars it you are not worried about carbs. |
Product is fine, don't recommend buying it online.

| The product is ok, but I do not recommend having it shipped to you in the summer. In Atlanta. It arrived having melted at some point and re-consolidated itself inside each wrapper. |

I love these bars and have averaged more than one a day for a couple of years now. Best tasting protein bar out there ... way better than even other eas bars.
BUT -
Pay attention to the reviews that mention melting! If you order in the summertime, the bars will almost certainly melt before they get to you. Even when they cool back down ... it's a total mess to eat. Flakes of chocolate all over the place. Good, but just get ready for a total mess if you order these when it's hot outside. |
