For those of you that do any kind of circuit training, you know that it is hard to keep up your pace after a while. I use NO-Shotgun before I do my P90X workout. It gets me incredibly motivated and keeps me going through the whole routine. I like the exotic fruit flavor and I love the fact that you only need one scoop the entire time you use it, unlike NO Xplode. (Which, by the way made me really explode if you know what I mean.)Shotgun and P90X have helped me burn fat and pack on lean muscle. I recommend this product to all of my friends, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for: a great pre-workout drink, to go up in weights, or build some lean muscle.
NO SHOTGUN is the best Prework out drink so far for me

I read the reviews and didnt want to change my pre workout drink, I was taking Isatori, NO Explode, Superpump 250. I took Shotgun and within minutes I feel my skin tingling and like I was about to smash the weight room. LOL. I took this before my 5 mile race and man did I run like a mad man. Superpump did nothing for me but give me an upset stomach, NO Explode was ok at first but results went away. With only 1 scoop of Shotgun it is a good value. Hope my review helps. Enjoy

Great stuff for the gym. Defiantly gave me an extra edge. I just got it to jump start my workout career again. It was good. Im using just whey now, but if I fall out of the gym routine again I will definitely pick this up again. The taste was alright till I got to the last 5 spoons. I think I just got sick of it.

I have tried several other pre-workout supplements, and this is the best I have found. It provides awesome energy and muscle pump and makes the veins stand out in your arms. It also helps keep/builds lean muscle and I've never noticed any water weight gain that I seemed to get with some of the others. I don't mind the taste at all.

This is a very good NO product. One scoop on an empty stomach and you can immediately feel it going through your body. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good preworkout shake.
Best Value for the Price

NO Shotgun, for me at least, out performed all other pre-lifts. I have used Black Powder, which did help me get more reps but does not assist in actual power gains. With NO Shotgun I was immediately able to rep ~20 more lbs on my bench press, and after I stopped use of the product I did not lose any mass/power. If you're looking for a product which will help you get stronger faster, and provides you with an extremely fast recovery this is for you. If you want something that will help you get in endurance shape, I would lean more towards Black Powder, however that will end up costing you 20-30 dollars more per month.
Delicious and Effective

I was skeptical before initially trying N.O. Shotgun. My first workout on it was awesome. I had insane pumps. Some of the product's critics claim that all you'll get is a pump: There is no long-term benefit to using the product. I disagree.
I'm at my leanest ever. Every time I diet to these levels, my muscles are flat and I look like a waif. Since using N.O. Shotgun, I've kept my muscle density.
It's also a powerful pre-workout stimulant. I drink it with several ice cubes into my shaker bottle. It tastes fantastic and gets me amped. This is especially necessary since I have a very stressful job. I drink Shotgun on the way to the gym and during my warm-up. After a few minutes on the treadmill or bike, I'm in "workout mode."
This is the best pre-workout supplement I've ever taken. Highly recommended. |
Just ok

This isn't that bad but I think other No2 products are a little better. I did like the fact that this has 20 grams of protein. I also really liked the taste. If you blend this with just water and a little ice it taste pretty good.

I have tried several of the major NO products on the market. NO Shotgun V.3 out performs them in several ways:
Taste: While this is the least important factor (IMAO), it's nice not having to fight your gag reflex when taking a supplement. V.3s "Exotic Fruit" goes down smoothly with only a slight aftertaste, a big improvement over the previous versions.
Ingredients: NO Shotgun V.3 is NOT just an NO Supplement. It contains 20 grams of protein (whey & Casein), a critical ingredient for mass gains which until now I have always had to take separately. It also includes Beta Alanine, an amino acid known to improve endurance and has recently been shown to aid in muscle recovery as well. It also includes VPXs "Redline" product which contains a fat burner and metabolism booster.
Effect: There is no arguing this product produces the best energy boost, mental focus and muscle pump I have experienced. It takes one and only one scoop of product to work, no need to start doubling or tripling the dose to get the same effect as the first time you used it.
When it comes to pre-workout supplements, NO Shotgun V.3 guns down all competitors. |

This is one hell of a nutritional supplement. The taste is horrible, but you better stop being a little girl and just swallow it if you wanna get massive gains and pumps in the gym. The trick is to drink it fast and not sip on it. After taking this product, I'm always ready to lift the WORLD! It has increased my bench, and lifting power. I recommend this product to anyone who is serious about weightlifting. Besides, it works and its much cheaper than most of the other products out there.

Be very, very careful when you use this product! When I first used the product I read the product info on the bottle. The product information said use no more than one scoop. I always use caution so I took 1/2 scoop. Within 30 minutes I was shaking like a leaf. This product didn't help me get a pump. I couldn't even lift the weights. I didn't get a wink of sleep that night. It took 36 hours to feel normal again. O.K. I'm not 20 anymore. Maybe if I was young I could take it. But, for me, this product was "NO-help".
